Lakehead University Geospatial Data Centre
The LUGDC is located in the Regional Centre on the Thunder Bay Campus of Lakehead University. We provide:
- Mapping services – traditional static maps for publication and printing, web maps for sharing and data exploration;
- Geospatial Data – help accessing international, national, regional and local datasets;
- Training – support for students, faculty and the larger University community looking to access, create, and analyze geospatial data;
- 3D modelling and structure-from-motion – stereo imaging for VR and modelling landscapes;
- Research – supporting research with a spatial component.
